Why am I being asked to provide a photo ID or proof of address? (U.S. only)

As a regulated entity, Xapo is required to verify the identity of each customer. In addition to providing some basic information such as your phone number and email address, you will be asked to submit an official government-issued photo ID, and in some instances, proof of address (POA) in your name.

If you maintain a Xapo account that is still unverified, you will be required to provide any missing verification documents upon logging in to the app.

Once you are fully verified, you will have access to all of the features that come with your Xapo account!
