How do I change my PIN?
This article is designed for users who know their current PIN and want to change it.
If you no longer remember your current PIN, please use this article:

Your 4-digit PIN is the primary passcode you use to log in, confirm transactions, and other functions related to your Xapo account. You can change your PIN at any time within the Xapo app.

You can change your PIN using the Xapo app (Android or iPhone).

How to change your PIN using the Xapo app (Android)

1. Open the Xapo app and log in to your account.

  • Tap your avatar photo to access your settings.
  • Scroll down and select Set new PIN to initiate the process.

2. Select 'I Know my Current PIN' to proceed.

  • On the next screen, enter your current PIN.
  • If you no longer remember your PIN and need to reset it, select I don't remember my PIN in order to reset your PIN (start at step 5).

3. Select a new 4-digit PIN.

  • After you have selected a new PIN, enter it again to confirm.

4. You're all set!

  • Your new PIN will immediately be active.
  • You can now tap Close to return to the app.

How to change your PIN using the Xapo app (iPhone)

1. Open the Xapo app and log in to your account.

  • Tap your avatar photo to access your settings.
  • Scroll down and select Set new PIN to initiate the process.

2. Select 'I Know my Current PIN' to proceed.

  • On the next screen, enter your current PIN.
  • If you no longer remember your PIN and need to reset it, select I don't remember my PIN in order to reset your PIN (start at step 5).

3. Select a new 4-digit PIN.

  • After you have selected a new PIN, enter it again to confirm.

4. You're all set!

  • Your new PIN will immediately be active.
  • You can now tap Close to return to the app.
