To change or reset your password, log in to your account at, click on the circular avatar in the upper right-hand corner, then click on Security Settings.



In your security settings, under Password, you have two options: Change Password; Reset Password.




Change Password

If you remember your current password, click on Change Password.

Enter your current password and add your new password twice.



Reset Password

If you forgot your current Password, click on Reset Password.

This will start the process to reset your password. Now simply confirm and validate the password reset process by entering your 6-digit Second Factor code.



You will receive the email allowing you to reset your password 24 hours after initiating this request.
Please be sure not to cancel this request before you receive the confirmation email.
If you do so the request will be canceled and you'll have to initiate another password reset and wait for another 24 hours.


If you decide to cancel this request, you can cancel anytime from the alert emails or from your Dashboard.




After 24 hours, you'll receive our email with an invitation to reset your password.

Open the email and click on Reset Password in order to complete the procedure.



Now type your new password and repeat it for confirmation.



And this is it. You have now successfully reset your Xapo account password!
